Bents Green School is a multi-site secondary school for students with autistic spectrum conditions and communication and interaction difficulties.

Bents Green Learning Community operates across three sites – Ringinglow, Gleadless and Westfield – and staff may be required to work across all sites in order to meet the needs of the students.

Deputy Headteacher

Working closely with our two full-time Co-Headteachers, you will help shape the strategic direction of the school as we negotiate a challenging educational landscape. The role is based at the Gleadless, Enterprise Works and Westfield Hub sites. However, the role will involve working closely with the Ringinglow team. The role currently does not have any teaching commitment.

TEACHING ASSISTANT (Special) – LEVEL 2

Full & Part time for all sites

Grade 4 (inclusive of JWCs)

TA2s work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.

We are looking for a teacher to work in our Pathway 4 curriculum area, who will help us to deliver a high quality provision for our students and their families. This is a permanent position currently based at our Ringinglow site.
