At Bents Green School we look forward to working with you and your child to ensure that everyone has a smooth transition to the school.
School Transition Information Tours
To further assist families whose child may wish to attend our school, we offer regular information sessions and tours of our Ringinglow and Gleadless sites. Please see the dates listed below.
If you would like to attend one of these sessions, please contact the school on 0114 236 3545 to book your place. Please note places are limited and therefore booking is essential.
Visitors must arrive at the school on time, otherwise we will not be able to facilitate a tour of the site. If you are unable to attend at the stated start time, please ask to book for a future date.

Transitioning Support
At Bents Green School, we appreciate that transition can be a difficult time for many of our students and their families. Anxiety levels can increase during times of transition, and therefore, as a school, we want to work with each individual and their family to ensure this is reduced as much as possible.

Post-16 Transition Support
Considering your child's next steps following their time at Bents Green School is an important part of their preparation for adulthood. At Bents Green School we offer Post-16 provisions through our Enterprise Works site, with an additional Post-16 provision coming to our Ringinglow site in September 2025.
